Sometimes a plate of roasted asparagus doused in lemon juice hits the spot. Tonight was one of those nights. Fifteen days until my local farmers markets open up for the season, and I cannot wait.

mmm, I want asparagus! I do have some okra left over...and I think I'm going to grill it up right now.

Okra always reminds me of one of my beloved great aunts; I think it was one of her favorite vegetables. Melanie might remember this, too.
